I rented 2 pontoons for a colleague appreciation event for my work and the process to rent was seamless. There was decent availability for a Friday in the summer. Braxton helped us and he was great! He was patient with our group, as no one had ever driven a pontoon before. He was also extremely helpful when it came time to dock back up. Everyone in my party talked about how great of a time and experience we had. We will definitely do this again and rent from this place! Convenient location with plenty of food options once you dock also!
Awesome place for paddle boarding! Dog friendly, super kind staff, and very reasonably priced. The only thing was the kayak didn’t have the seat in it, so it caused some back discomfort.
Great experience! Boat in great shape, bumpers and anchor (unlike their "neighbor" who also rents but provides deck chair for driver). Staff was awesome! Gave us overview of boat, lake rules and what to do if engine became bogged with seaweed. When they saw us coming in to dock, they ran to meet us and help guide us and dock. Will be back!!

I’m not sure why this happened but it made me never want to return again. I walked up to the counter and asked if they had canoe rentals. There were two young men behind the counter, one at the counter and one sitting down. The one sitting down burst out laughing, the one at the counter corrected me and said “do you mean kayak, like a tandem kayak?” I say yes, as long as my child and I can fit in. The guy laughing walked away. I wasn’t about to let this ruin our day though, we rented a kayak and got on the water and had a good time. But because of this interaction I decided to just buy our own kayaks and forget the rentals. I planned on being there at least twice a week for at least 3 hours at a time. Now, however, we will never go back. I’m not sure if he was laughing at me for not knowing they didn’t rent kayaks, or if he was laughing because I’m not some skinny blonde that turned him on…just because someone isn’t your type doesn’t mean you have the right to laugh at them, especially at a business. I’m not exactly sure why he was laughing at us, but regardless the reason it was so unprofessional, unprovoked, and humiliating. The prices are great for the kayaks, just make sure you’re not bigger or you’ll get laughed at!
Rented a pontoon boat today and I must say, it wasn't the greatest. The boat wasn't in the best shape. Life vest smelled of mold, some cup holders were ripped, spider webs, etc. The guy at the rental booth was extremely serious, never smiled no matter what you said. I will go with a different company next time. Some place with friendlier workers and boats in better shape.
